Ashante uses an integration of multicultural, cognitive behavioral, and trauma-focused, holistic therapies to provide guidance to those seeking therapeutic support. She recognizes that past traumas and lived experiences may cause us to repeat negative patterns in our routines and relationships that no longer serve us. She also notes that these patterns may have escalated overtime as we put our needs on the back burner and forget the importance of putting on our oxygen mask before assisting others – leading to anxiety, depression, and/or hopelessness.
